I
like swimming, cooking, dancing, listening to the music and watching movies.
My
family criticized me, the thing you learned most in America is how
to cook! Sometime I also worried, maybe I was drifting away to the wrong
side?---in China,
we students needn’t spend energy and mind on cooking. But I just couldn’t resist to try
new recipes any more. And I remember how happy I felt after I
could make good-looking dumplings by myself in 2005 (in China, as the
youngest person in our family, I was only assigned to make the dumpling
wrappers; after my parents showed me
how to wrap dumplings, I got frustrated because I could not make
it). There is one bad thing associated with cooking, however: I kept on
gaining weight. I hate I can't control even my own weight.
I have to let it be after struggling. Whatever, I am just gonna enjoy the life now.
You can have a look at the
food I cooked if you have a facebook ID (my email is xuzijun88@hotmail.com) or ID in wenxuecity.com (My ID: RedHouse, see photos in my blog). Ortherwise you can see
at http://picasaweb.google.com/zijunxu
Another
happiness of cooking is that your achievement (food) makes other people
happy. So if there is any food you are interested in, I will be glad if
you can share some with me. I wish I can add some pleasant memories in
your life.
