This spring semester the Department of Biological Sciences is continuing the opportunity for high school science classes to take a trip to our campus and spend the day attending their first college level lecture, participating in a lab activity and talking with faculty and staff about life science careers. Included in the activities was lunch at Wadsworth Hall dormitory.

These pictures are for the visit by West Iron County 26 Jan 2005. For this lab activity students are looking at their EKG's (electro-cardiograms) and measuring their cardiac fitness using a metabolic cart. Mr. Joel VanLanen and Ms. Patti Steinberg were the teachers.
