Degree Requirements -

MS degree requirements include either the Plan A (thesis) or Plan B (project) option of the Graduate School, as approved by your advisory committee; a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 basis); and either 2 or 3 credits of BL5500, the graduate seminar.

PhD degree requirements are the same as those required by the Graduate School and are described in the Graduate School Bulletin.

The Clinical Laboratory Science program, preparing students for either research or clinical laboratory management, may include the Plan A (thesis) option with original research in clinical microbiology, chemistry, or immunology.

For management skills, course work in both operations management and clinical laboratory science, plus the Plan B (project) option in business research with either a hospital or a clinical employer, may be appropriate.
