Class Description Fall 2007 - Section R31
Title: Leadership: Kirk or Picard?
In this course we will consider the concept of leadership. Is it art or
science? Is it innate or learned? Do some persons have traits that will
always make them leaders? Do leaders arise in response to the stress of
crisis events? Can people choose to become leaders? We will examine
critically examples of leadership in many areas of human society,
including politics, education, sciences, arts, music, business, and the
military.
