Class Description Spring 2007 - Section R01

Title: World Religions

We will inquire about several religions of the world, attempting to understand the uniqueness of each, the questions they seek to answer, and the issues they seek to address. The central considerations in our inquiry will be personal ones: How does each religion challenge and/or strengthen our own current ways of thinking, how and what can we gain from an understanding of this religion, and does this understanding impact us personally in a positive or negative way.
