Title:   Creating the "Drug Fiend": Drugs and Drug Policy in the USA

Beginning with first anti-opium act in 1875 to today's full-blown "War on Drugs", U.S. policy towards the use of certain mind-altering substances has been based on prohibition of the substances and demonization of their users.
