Class Description Fall 2006 - Section R05
Title: Is the World Flat?
The world is changing very rapidly. The United States is realizing a shortage
of engineers and scientists to fill the needs of security related government
and private sector positions. The rapid growth and expansion of India, Russia,
and China poses a real threat to America as we know it today. Of particular
importance are offshoring (send jobs and work to other countries) and how that
will impact the US competitive advantage.
