Dow 710, 710A, 710B
Steward: Susan Bagley, Ph.D.
This facility is used to support the laboratories associated with the Department of Biological Sciences Microbiology courses. Microbiology is the study living organisms that are typically too small to be seen without magnification; although small in size, these organisms are intensively studied for their roles, for example in both disease production, and production of antimicrobial chemicals, in both causing and cleaning up environmental problems and in both producing and spoiling food.
