Research: Microbial Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

The Microbial Biochemistry Laboratory provides the facilities required for basic and applied studies on the biochemistry, physiology and genetics of microorganisms of environmental importance.  This research is highly interdisciplinary with students and faculty, past and present, from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Material and Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Biological.
