This laboratory studies animal plankton in Lake Superior and other surrounding inland lakes. The research focuses on the larger term changes (over decades) of the plankton.  More specifically, on their food chain (what they eat and what eats them) as they are near he bottom of the food chain they very significantly effect “life” of a lake.
