Introduction to the general principles and techniques involved in the study of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Topics to be covered include cell structure and function, growth, metabolism, biodiversity, and interactions. Prerequisites: BL1020 and BL2100; and junior or senior standing; or permission of instructor.
